Mind & Matter

Counseling Support

A private, unhurried space where you can talk openly, be heard without judgment, and work through what you’re going through — offered by Neha V. Vaidya and entirely separate from any legal representation.

A space just for you

Counseling support at MIND & MATTER is a space to talk about what you are going through — personally, within your family, or in your relationships. You can speak at your own pace, without pressure or judgment. If a legal concern is also involved, we will help you understand that distinction clearly and keep the two conversations appropriately separate.

What to expect

What a session is actually like.

It is a conversation

Not an assessment, and not a test. You talk; you are listened to properly; nothing is written down about you beyond what is needed to arrange the next appointment.

You set the pace

You are never pushed to discuss something before you are ready, and you are never asked for more detail than the situation needs.

It is kept private

What is said in a session stays in the session, subject to the limits explained in the counseling disclaimer.

Honesty about limits

If what you need is specialist or clinical care, you will be told so plainly and helped to find it, rather than kept in sessions that are not the right help.

The session

30-Minute Counseling Support Session

₹450

Duration

30 minutes

A private 30-minute conversation where you can talk openly, take your time, and be heard without judgment.

This is a scheduled counseling-support conversation and is not an emergency or crisis service. Situations requiring urgent or specialist mental-health intervention will be referred to appropriate services.

Counseling support is booked and paid for separately from a legal consultation. The two are never combined in one session.

Third area of support

Crisis Support & Referral

If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts or severe emotional distress, Mind & Matter can provide appropriate initial support and help connect the person with qualified mental-health or emergency services. Situations requiring urgent or specialist intervention will be referred to appropriate services.

Mind & Matter is not an emergency service and does not provide psychiatric treatment, clinical diagnosis or specialist crisis intervention.

You will never be rushed, judged, or asked for more than you want to share. If specialist care is what is needed, you will be told so honestly and helped to reach it.

Please note

What this support is, and what it is not.

Counseling support here means listening, understanding and practical guidance. It is not psychiatric treatment, clinical psychology, psychological diagnosis or therapy. Neha V. Vaidya is an Advocate who is developing her professional work in counseling and pursuing higher education in Psychology and Social Work.

Mind & Matter is not an emergency service. No outcome is promised. Reading this website, or sending an enquiry through it, does not by itself create a counseling relationship — that begins only when it has been expressly agreed.

You do not have to explain it perfectly.

You do not have to know exactly how to explain what you’re feeling. You can simply start where you are.

Please do not send emergency information or highly sensitive personal details through the website.
